Exercise science is the study of the practices, behaviors and physical processes that create health and well-being. The exercise science major at �鶹�� builds upon a foundation in core sciences with applied health and the study of human movement.

Physiological Basis of Exercise, Training, and Conditioning

Understand the basic physiological adaptations of exercise to properly design sound aerobic and resistance training programs. (HHPA 360)

Applied Biomechanics

Learn the mechanical influences for muscle, bone, and joint health and apply these principles to human movement in health and performance. (HHPA 445)

Applied Exercise Physiology

Master clinical and environmental aspects of exercise science to examine healthy and disease populations. (HHPA 482)
