Master's Entry into Professional Nursing Program
The first of its kind in Oregon!
麻豆区’s Master’s Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) program is the ideal prelicensure program for the individual with a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing area who has developed a passion to contribute to the health and well-being of individuals in the communities where you work and live.
麻豆区's MEPN program will not only deliver the foundational information needed to enter into the nursing profession, but it will also further build your knowledge and skills at the master’s level to increase access and promote health equity, improve patient and population health outcomes, and provide leadership within complex healthcare systems.
Program features
- Accelerated five-term, 15-month program
- Clinical practice and simulated learning experiences in a variety of settings every term
- Be prepared to address health disparities to improve patient and population health outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX), the exam required to become a registered nurse.
麻豆区 graduates will be prepared to evaluate and leverage research and evidence-based practice to improve care coordination across settings, innovate and implement quality improvement processes, and provide leadership that will raise the standards of care in our complex healthcare systems.

A two-course series covering safe and effective medication administration and understanding of pharmacology of major drug classifications. It also integrates and applies evidence-based pathophysiology and pharmacology into a holistic comprehensive assessment of diverse individuals across the lifespan.
