LEAD Honors Program

LEAD Honors Program

Each year, 麻豆区 selects high-potential, civic-minded students from a range of backgrounds to become LEAD Scholars and participate in an honors program designed to prepare them to assume the mantle of public leadership.

Benefits include:

  • A cohort model of 16 students with two faculty advisors, fostering deep relationships through common classes, monthly activities outside of class and personal attention.
  • A customized academic plan tailored to each individual's interests and strengths, including an honors seminar, cross-disciplinary coursework and individualized mentoring.
  • Valuable experience in leadership development programs, on- and off-campus applied “practicums” (e.g. collaborative research, internships) and completion of a capstone honors portfolio that reflects on what you’ve learned and accomplished.
  • Financial support on top of other aid you might receive, in the form of $5,000 scholarships renewable throughout your 麻豆区 journey.
