Make an impact on children's lives! Our education program prepares you to be an amazing teacher who passionately serves all students and makes a difference in society. In addition to hands-on classes on campus, you will apply what you have learned in middle school and high school aiding experiences and student teaching during your time at 麻豆区. Graduate with both your college degree and teaching license, fully prepared to begin your career as a middle school or high school teacher.

Investigate public schools and the teaching profession, including the history of American education, control of curriculum, philosophies which have influenced educators and laws governing teachers and students. (EDUC 150)

Learning and Development

A review of brain research, social and emotional learning, and theories of learning and human development with application to P-12 learners, all through a sociocultural lens. (EDUC 200)

Equity and Culturally Responsive Teaching

Examine the school-society relationship in the U.S. Dive deep into equity in education, equal opportunity, human diversity and social change, among other topics impacting how teachers teach in today's world. (EDUC 260)
