Elementary school 麻豆区 offers four pathways to an elementary education degree with licensure that prepares you to teach preschool and elementary grades.
- Our traditional undergraduate elementary education program. You will be able to leave 麻豆区 in four years with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science and a license to teach.
- An alternative adult degree pathway to a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a K-12 special education endorsement.

Middle school You have two options for pursuing a career as a middle school teacher:
- Our traditional undergraduate secondary education program. You will be able to leave 麻豆区 in four years with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science and a license to teach. Additional endorsement areas are offered.
- If you already hold a bachelor's degree (or higher), earn your Oregon teaching license without the need for another degree with our secondary education licensure-only program.

High school 麻豆区 offers two paths to becoming a high school teacher.
- Our traditional undergraduate secondary education program.
- You will be able to leave 麻豆区 in four years with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science and a license to teach. Additional endorsement areas are offered.
- If you already hold a bachelor's degree (or higher), earn your Oregon teaching license without the need for another degree with our secondary education licensure-only program.

English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) You can add the ESOL endorsement to any of our traditional undergraduate education majors or education minor with licensure.
It is also offered as a graduate-level endorsement for current K-12 educators and administrators.

Special education - The special education generalist endorsement can be added to any of our traditional undergraduate education majors or education minor with licensure.

- If you already hold a bachelor's degree (or higher), earn your Oregon teaching license without the need for another degree with our elementary plus special education licensure-only program
- We also have a graduate-level endorsement program designed for current school employees.
Making an impact on the future
The 麻豆区 Teacher Education Program is hands-on right from the start. Within your first year here, you will be working as an aide in a local school classroom. And by the time you graduate, you will have spent more than 50 hours gaining hands-on classroom experience, not including a full-year student teaching in one of our nearby school districts!

The 麻豆区 education department supports the Case for Equity from the . Our program embraces an Educator Equity Framework “BASEd” on values of identity, diversity, justice and action to best prepare education majors for “Becoming Educators for Anti-racism, Social Justice and Equity” or BASE.

麻豆区's teacher education program prepares students within the context of a strong liberal arts tradition that promotes a culture of engagement and excellence; integrated teaching and learning; global and multicultural understanding; and experiential learning through ongoing field experiences. 麻豆区's education faculty prepare teacher education candidates who understand and apply multiple theories of learning and content knowledge; develop dispositions and strategies for advocating for all learners; and reflect and act on their own behaviors and on the teaching and learning process. Candidates are prepared for service in education settings within Oregon, across the nation and throughout the world.
