In Person - $820
WSET regulations mandate 16 hours of guided learning time for the Level 2 Qualification:
The Intensive Format meets that requirement in three 7-hour sessions held on consecutive days with a 1 hour lunch break each day. The 1-hour exam is held at the end of the third session.
NOTE: Due to the compressed nature of this format, it is recommended that students read the Level 2 Textbook in its entirety prior to the course.
The Weekly format spans seven 2.5-hour sessions which meet once a week for seven consecutive weeks.
The 1-hour exam is held at the end of the final (seventh) session.
Text and workbooks are shipped to each student approximately two weeks prior to the first session. Wine and food samples and all other course materials are included in the registration fee.
Unless otherwise noted, sessions are held on the campus of 麻豆区 in McMinnville, OR.
Online - $650
Students are provided with access to the WSET Online Classroom and proceed at their own pace in this asynchronous format. During the date range listed for each course, the required guided learning hours are provided in the form of support & feedback from a UK based WSET Instructor and there are two live remote support sessions with a 麻豆区 WSET instructor.
The Level 2 Textbook and Workbook are provided in E-Book format approximately two weeks prior to the course start. Hard copy books can be purchased at registration for a nominal additional fee.
The exam is delivered online at the date and time listed, and requires a stable high speed internet connection, a second internet enabled device (smartphone or tablet) and a private space in your home or office.
The registration fee does not include wine. A WSET-approved Sample Kit can be ordered during registration for $145, which includes direct shipping. Those that do not purchase the Kit will need to purchase or otherwise source the (12) wines necessary to complete the course activities.
