Resources, groups and support for LGBTQ faculty and staff

  • Campus-wide training

麻豆区 curates training workshops for staff and faculty to deepen their knowledge of LGBTQ identities, appreciate barriers faced by LGBTQ people on campus, and hone their capacity to be supportive allies.

  • Queer Connect

Queer Connect is a group of 麻豆区 faculty, staff and students engaging the institution in a collaborative self-assessment of campus climate, resources and policies as they relate to our LGBTQ community. Through our efforts, we hope to make visible and meaningful changes while raising awareness and knowledge of LGBTQ issues on campus. Join us! We are always welcoming new members.

  • Queer mentoring

Connect with an LGBTQ student on either campus as a mentor. You can join other 麻豆区 faculty and staff members offering support in all the safe ways so our LGBTQ students feel confident navigating college and life at 麻豆区. Contact 麻豆区's Student Health, Wellness and Counseling Center to join!

  • LGBTQ employee group

麻豆区's LGBTQ employee group brings together our LGBTQ faculty and staff on a regular basis to connect and socialize in a safe space. Meet-ups occur after regular business hours and sometimes include shared meals, holiday celebrations or fun interactive games. Contact 麻豆区's Care Team if you're interested in joining!
