Pride at 麻豆区
Building an inclusive community
麻豆区 is proud to welcome students from across the LGBTQ spectrum. From campus-wide policies to inclusive training for faculty, we are committed to ensuring that you have an exceptional learning experience.
Student campus resources
From locating gender-neutral bathrooms on campus, finding a comfortable living space, connecting with peers and allies and seeking guidance on how to change your name, this page will point you in the right direction.
Pronouns matter
Pronouns are an essential part of how people identify. All members of the 麻豆区 community are expected to engage respectfully with others. This means that every student, faculty and staff member has the right to be referred to using the name and pronoun of their choosing.
Employee resources
You too have a community of peers and allies at 麻豆区. Join a group, become a mentor or connect with others on both campuses in a safe and supportive environment.
Celebrating pride on campus
Annual events
Pride Week at 麻豆区 is organized by our student pride clubs each academic year. It provides the opportunity to celebrate our LGBTQ community through fun and educational events and activities. Our community members on both campuses are encouraged to wear coordinating colors of the rainbow in solidarity. We also raise awareness on Trans Day of Visibility and Trans Day of Remembrance acknowledging that there's still a lot of work to do to support the world's trans community.
